I am an independent, open minded writer with an optimistic outlook and a hint of artistic sarcasm.
Basically, I am a sweet, funny, kind, nerdy smartass who is eternally loyal to those who deserve it, and even sometimes to those who don't. I have lived all over the United States (during the past 18 years) and have recently moved to a beautiful quaint midwestern town called Galena. I now live an hour away from where I grew up.. Hmmm... 2 millon people and nonstop traffic to population 3600 and 1 Hwy will be a big change. At least I picked an "artsy" town with endless activities and outdoor fun so I wont get too bored. Wish me luck....

It is not only the removal of shackles and borders that keep mankind from being kept. It is in the selfish act of keeping itself that breeds contempt. Freedom is choosing one's own path and being allowed by the whole world around us to do so. I do not wish to change the world by pointing out it's hypocritical flaws. I merely wish for the world to decide to change on it's own. Some people say that following your heart is sinful will, but that is just because they were too afraid to lead themselves. Someday when I am nothing more than a yellowing photograph or handed down cookie plate I hope someone who is still alive will think of me and smile.
