Anyone play Pokemon? What's your favorite starter? Type? Generation? Other?

I'm drawn to the water type starter most of the time . . . my favorite generation is the second, since that's the one I started on, though I like all of them. Except Gen 4... I don't particularly care for that one....

`I really like snivy because it's fully evolved version is so fast, if you can get a one-hit KO on your opponent every time, and make the first move, it's a sure win
I tend to be a grass type starter but occasionally will use fire or water. I had piplup as a starter for the previous gen for example.

I can't say that I'm into a generation more than another, all of them have had some pretty good pokemon and some pretty bad ones.

My favourite starter is Torchic because I have a level 100 Blaziken who can take out ANYTHING.

Favourite type: I like water, fire and ghost mostly. But really I'm not picky.

Generation: I was a kid during the first generation so my heart remains there.

I've played pokemon ever since it first came out in america with red/blue. Favorite series of all time, and was basically my childhood.. well that and soccer.. but I've always leaned towards the fire.....*cough* fighting*cough*... starter lines, since my first pokemon was Charmander in my blue version.
