				| Okay, I have a HP Pavilion i7-1254. 2.2ghz proc
 8 gigs of ram
Radeon HD 6350 graphics chipset. (onboard 1 gig vmem)
So I was wondering if anyone knew of a good way to get a successful install on this or if they had done it on a similar machine. I have found plenty of programs and guides for intel chipsets, but amd research is apparently a wee bit more scarce.

				| `That's because Apple never has and probably never will support AMD CPU's. Afaik, there is a custom Kernel for AMD, but only for Snow Leopard.
Updates would most likely break your system.
I was in the same situation and sadly, the best thing you can probably do is going for an Intel Upgrade.
Sold my X6 and Mainboard, bought a 2600K and am now running Lion on a P67 Sabertooth.

For more Info, try insanelymac.com forums, they're very helpful
You'll probably get some info, even if you plan to stick to AMD.

 Hope this helps. :)
