I really like the following fantasy novels/series...

Melanie Rawn's Exile (The Ruins of Ambrai, Mageborn Traitor), sadly she never got around to the 3rd book (Captal's Tower, and yes i spelled it right)

Jennifer Roberson's Tiger and Del series (sword singer, sword bringer, sword born, sword sworn, sword breaker, sword maker, and she's working on more in that series)
and her other series: Karavan, Deepwood, and the 3rd book isn't out yet but should be published soon

Tad Williams' Memory, Sorrow and Thorn trilogy: The Dragonbone Chair, Stone of Farewell, To Green Angel Tower parts 1 and 2 (soft cover, hard cover is all in 1 book)

The books of Earthsea by Ursula K. Leguin: A Wizard of Earthsea, The Tombs of Atuan, The Farthest Shore, Tehanu (the last one I read, I'm looking for the others), Tales from Earthsea and The Other Wind (also an animated movie but it's not nearly as good or detailed as the books, of course)

I liked (RIP) Andre Norton's The Zero Stone (there are supposed to be other books related to it but I could never find them even online.. I guess they go by The Murdoc Jern series...), and another unrelated book Moonsinger, and another I read and liked was The Mark (Mask?) of the Cat

for younger readers...

Rowan of Rin series by Emily Rodda

Deltora Quest series also by Emily Rodda (also a good pretty true-to-the-books anime and now a video game too)

Jonathan Stroud's Bartimeus trilogy (which I hear is supposed to be made into a movie?!?)

If I remember more, I'll post them below...

`I've been looking for Tiger and Del for a while. I ran across them when I was looking for prospective new books, but then forgot the name. Thanks for inadvertently reminding me. xD
