hey does anyone know whats happening about the farscape mini series. LOVED farscape and i have to admit i am very excited about the prosepect of more to come. stupid cancellation of such a good show...

Farscape lasted 3 seasons (I believe) on the SciFi Channel here in the US (due to falling ratings). It was canceled, and then a made-for-TV movie was released called "The Peacekeeper Wars" ,which ended the series. As far as I know, no more will be produced. Shame, honestly. It was, and remains, one of the best scifi series produced in the US..

`The series actually ran for 4 seasons. A main reason for the cancellation was actually due to budgetary constraints, each episode ran very high on cost as there was so much special effects(CGI, pupeteering).

it remains my favorite sci-fi series of all time. great characters, great stories, and a truly alien environment. Insofar as the miniseries I hope they get it going i want more.
