Just thought I'd say hi to everyone.

I'm from a small town and most of my good friends have moved away, leaving me with not much to do. I recently graduated from University with a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and have now been working at a local processing plant as the QA Supervisor for just over a year.

I'm not sure how much of a nerd I really am but I love science fiction and technical gadgets etc. My favourite author is Terry Pratchett and my favourite TV shows include Futurama (how awsome that they brought it back!!), Firefly (Please bring it back!) and super geekily Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I'm also into Red Dwarf, Stargate, Star Trek, Star Wars any probably any other show with Star in the title!

But my absolute favourite show is The Big Bang Theory! Mostly because I sadly get the jokes -- a true nerd!

I am looking to make friends and meet new people. If a relationship comes out of it then that's awesome too In an small NZ town its hard to meet people with the same interests as you.
