I'm really interested in what others think about --- and dating on the nerd side of things...
Is it more complicated/ satisfying?
What are the challenges of dating?

With all certainty, I'd say dating a nerd is certainly more satisfying than dating a non-nerd, for the obvious basic reason of a wealth of common interests that give the relationship grounds to grow on. Who would want to date someone that that doesn't like any of the same things you would? It wouldn't make very much sense, unless you don't expect the relationship to go anywhere from the begining...Aside from the petty differences of Kirk vs. Piccard, or D&D 2nd. edition vs. 3.5, I wouldn't say it gets any more complicated. Complications are only brought about by individual concerns, and as such can't really be generalized.
I think I'd mentioned in an earlier post that the challenges of Nerd-dating seem to be the ever-slanted male-nerd to female-nerd ratio, and the dating pool in your particular geographic area; So goes the old maxim "A good man/woman is hard to find." Doubly so with higher standards and requirements. Nerd --- is an interesting topic...I'd say it's better. Nerds tend to be a bit more creative with performance, and wind up being closet perverts a good portion of the time. Our world of fetishes and fantasies always seem to be a bit more on the extreem end of the spectrum. We're eager to please, especially with the goal of an encore...

`Rofl it doesn't matter if your a nerd or a rock star or a jock. If your good at it your good. Relationship wise yea you need to have things both of you like but sometimes complete opposites make a great relationship.
I've had --- with different types of girls and sometimes who you thought was gonna blow your mind was dull and boring and who you though was boring it's the best --- you ever had.
