I am just curious as to what my fellow comic nerds favorite super heroes are. Excluding people that I know people love like Supes, Bats, Spidey, and Wolvie. But hey its whatever people like, right?

But all's too weak: for brave MacBeth -well he deserves that name- disdaining fortune with his brandish'd steel, which smoked with execution. Like valor's minion, carved out his path, 'til he fac'd the slave, which he ne'er shook hands with, nor bade farewell to." |

Interesting that a guy wearing a Punisher t-shirt mentions no Marvel characters. I am more of a DC fan, myself. Honestly, Batman IS my favorite character because he has no powers. Of course, I also like the mystical characters like Doctor Fate, the Spectre and Phantom Stranger.

I like the Punisher, but not as much as the ones I mentioned. There's no Marvel characters on there because Marvel lost my readership after Civil War.

I like Supergirl. Superman was a nerd, but secretly he wasn't.

I'd have to say GAMBIT!!!
First of all...he's a freakin' pimp!! He gets all the girls an he doesn't even sleep with the them all...it's just the fact that he does lol Secondly...he's got that "conflict of intrest thing" goin' on...am i a hero or am i a villan..or do i care? lol He always ends up doing the righ tthing so that makes him more human to me caus ehe has that constant conflict within himself. Plus...come on..his mutanat power is awesome..charging obects a making them go boom? an the playing cards a a nice touch...u can't see a playing card now an not think about Reamy Lebeau lol i wonder how he tosses those cads like that? lol
Pretty much anything Marvel im game for...DC..is ok..but i need liked alot of their stuff. JLA or Batman or Superman..those are cool.
If i had a fav DC hero it would be..a toss between Bats an Supes.
Probably Superman lol He is what ALL the superheros in that universe aspire to be so ...i guess hands down SUPERMAN!...and GAMBIT.
O an did i forget the fact that Remy has that cool cajun, creole accent? And the he's MR.Sinister's son? And if he had access to ALL of his abilities that he could destroy a freakin' planet?

Haha...well put, ehiflir. Gambit does indeed rock.
Personally, once you get past the dark mastery of Batman and the superninjaness of spidey, I might have to go with Silver Surfer.
I'm talking classic Surfer, here. He was "all right" in the latest Fantastic Four movie, but really it didn't quite do him justice. And Galactus isn't a nebulous, billowing belch, he's a gigantic superbeing!! Oh, well.
Anyway Surfer was the penultimate independent. He abandoned his entire world, his race, and the love of his life, to try to direct the insatiable hunger of Galactus so his people wouldn't be killed. He's insanely powerful from getting just a touch of Galactus's cosmic power, but is also highly intellectual and knows how and when to strut his stuff. Next thing you know, he's realizing that the plight of Earth under the threat of Galactus is not unlike that of his own homeworld, so what does he do? He turns around and betrays Galactus himself, a battle he cannot possibly, by any stretch of the imagination, win, in order to try to protect the sanctity of innocent life. Mind you, Galactus is NOT just the most powerful being in the Marvel Universe. He is the embodiment of the Universe itself.
That's right. Silver Surfer betrays the UNIVERSE.
And then of course you have other villains who are more of an equal match for the Surfer, such as Dr. Doom and some of the other "heralds" of Galactus who are not so mutinous. It ain't easy being a cosmic defender -- but he just keeps on surfin'. Now that is one chill dude, if you ask me.

Well, other than the Batman, I enjoy both Daredevil and Hulk. To Hulk, I can relate. I have this deep source of rage inside of me that if it gets out, trouble happens. I enjoy Daredevil for different reasons. A good number of superheroes have abilities that are blatantly obvious, on the 'output' end of the spectrum. Daredevil is cool in that his abilities are on the input side. He's not telekinetic, nor can he shoot laser beams, nor can he leap tall buildings in a single bound or anything like that, but he can feel the ink on a sheet of paper, hear a pin drop from five blocks away along a busy street, and smell someone's presence in a room long after they left. Now that's cool.
