Death Star vs. Borg Mothership

Did YOU forget that the Borg can teleport through shields, can shoot through shields, and if necessary can eliminate said shields. Tie-fighters would be unable to penetrate a Borg ships defenses so would be destroying themselves on it's shields. The borg could infiltrate the deathstar and assimilate its technology, the troopers would be useless as the borg have their own shields. The Star Wars universe doesn't have the same class of technology so the match-up is unfavorable for the Death-Star.

As godofmasks says: The transporter technology can easily disable those defence systems.
But the real question is: Does the Death-Star contain any new technologies, which the Borg would be interested in ?
