				It's a simple question with no hidden strings:
 
 
How do you teach colours to a person whoes been blind since birth?
 
 
If it sounds familar to anybody thats because I first saw it in a wrinkle in time.
 
 
I've already asked one person, both he and his answer would best be described as left field, and now I'm interested in finding out how other people would solve this peradox

				This is probably going to sound stupid but maybe you could teach them to associate colors with smell. 
 
 
For example purple= grapes, orange=an orange, red=apple. 
 
 
This is all I could think of and I know its a bit ascinine but maybe you could describe a color with other senses using objects of that color. Tho its probably best to just let it go, the lak of one sense could be made up for by others in strange and often confusing ways.

this is true
 
i've seen kinda the same thing on an old movie called "mask", with cher. but instead of smell it was feeling
