I can't believe there isn't a Doctor Who discussion already up and running. So let us begin...

`I personally liked Tom Baker (he was fun), Peter Davidson (he was... a snob), Christopher Eccleston (he was more serious and focused) (4rd, 5th and 9th doctors)... and boy I miss k-9 lol

I really didn't care for the 6th and 7th doctors (they were pains in the neck and kind of jerks)... and the 10th doctor(Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy... and David Tennant)

I guess I missed the 8th doctor because I have no clue who that was :/ In fact, I thought the series had gone under until I stumbled on an episode with Eccleston as the 9th doctor... and I was glad it was back for a while... until Tennant took over and I thought: "nah... they lost the spark the show used to have, right there". It was, to me, like the writers just stopped caring and wrote filler episode after filler episode...
I have yet to see any episodes with the latest doctor, Matt Smith... so I have no opinion on those two (8th doctor and the latest one) at all as of now...

I'm wondering how long before they pick a Harry Potter (former) kid to play the doctor lol or an older Robert Pattinson D: He'd be the doctor who doesn't have his act together hehehe. I'm just kidding!

Moffat is really good he can be very dark though sometimes then RTD. the Silents mosters was classic behind the sofa stuff, with the film it has been going for years on and off one I heard Pierce Brosnan & Christopher Lloyd where playing the Dr lol & one with David Tennant returning lol I know they did those Dalek film in the 60's with Peter Cushion which had nothing to do with the series , but that was cashing in on the Dalek mania at the time and Dr Who was quite new and they where unaware of how long it was going to go on for and its cult status, i personal think it is better has a series though

& to alikakadri yes alot of people have mixed feeling about the 6th and 7th I think it was becouse the program got really cheap in the 80's Coln Baker was a very good actor but not given a chance and was sacked and he had the worst outfit ever and Sylvester McCoy was given no direction he said they just told him to do want he wanted ??

For me Eccleston really up dated Dr who before it was aways a nutty man with a bad fashion but Eccleston was this cold hard Northern accent with a moden leather jacket jeans a a T shirt someone who could walk down the street and I loved that I was gutted he only did one series, David was not his best in his first series but he really made it up and toned it down for the rest of his run and his last ep made me Cry :'( oh and by the way Paul really wants to be in the new series and may return for the 50th aniversary

`haha! you're right about the bad fashion before Eccleston. But I guess that was part of who the Dr. had always been (except maybe the first 2 doctors which reflected more the black & white tv era?)... an eccentric genius or (no offense) an oddball nerd. Eccleston changed that with his serious "got my act together" cool looks/down-to-earth personality/good fashion sense. But he still made a very likable Dr.

and don't worry about the spelling issue! Many people misspell with less reason behind it

`well, years ago i would have laughed at that... but he turned out pretty hot looking... and his character in Harry Potter WAS interesting if not popular. It's just a rumor right now though but yeah, I guess I spoke too soon lol
