ok i know most of you are pissed about the new DMC game(its a poor excuse
to make Dante look bad) but i want to hear everything you like,hate, enjoy,
about Devil May Cry

`It's always been a great series for me (except 2) and has kept me really interested. I like the challenge series they do with the little missions on the side. I don't really know what it is about the series but it tends to keep drawing me in. I enjoy the contrast of the Hack / Slash I guess since I usually only play MMOs. I have only seen clips of the new "Dark" looking Dante, I don't really know how I'm going to feel about that.

`After playing DMC 3 i was impressed with how the game was put together.seeing the new game it just removed the original story and tried to replace it. The original 4 (even dmc 2) is what made people want to play the games. Since they tried to start over they wont sell as many units

`I am a huge fan of the series and am also disappointed in what they've done to Dante`. Being a gamer that has played every game in the series, with the except of the new DmC because I only played the demo, I've got to say it is what I expect. The series has awesome, well-rounded characters, gripping story lines, and a great fighting system. The fact that they've completely changed everything that I loved about the series has left me (obviously) upset. I will not support them changing Dante`, Virgil, their origins, or the story (which they left a lot of holes in before just scrapping it). During the demo, the typical Devil Trigger was actually a glimpse of Dante` as his original self, faded over the new one which leads me to believe it's a "reincarnation" type thing, which would probably just make the game worse for me. (Kind of like what they tried doing to the Kingdom Heart series where Sora was really that other guy and so forth). Resorting to that and ditching the fans is proof that most people are just in it for the dollars. I will admit though, the fighting is pretty awesome in the new one, but that's it.
