Hey, does anyone else watch the show Mythbusters? I work for Discovery and Im stoked for the new MythBusters episodes... Jamie and Adam are awesome The guys are gonna be blowing up steak and pushing the limits of angry drivers on tomorrow's episode which airs at 9pm if you're watching with me, woohoo! I was thinking about taking a break from all the tv viewing since I was glued to Shark Week, haha, but Im gonna have to make an exception.

A little trivia I got on their website:
The combined weight of all the worlds ants is equal to that of all the humans on earth¦ True or False?

What does the “33 represent on bottles of Rolling Rock beer?

The worlds largest flower is nearly 10 feet tall and smells like rotting meat¦ True or False?

I seem to remember hearing about such a flower that emits an odor of rotten meat, but I don't remember how large it gets, nor if it is the record-holder...

The flower is correct, it stands (a.o.t.) at the Hortus Botanicus in Leiden (it's colloquial name is the "-----plant". Hey, we're Dutch).

Anyhoo, though Mythbusters is one of the more pallatable programmes at Discovery Europe, Discovery has gone way too techy for me.
I prefered the documentaries on Stonehenge and the Black Plague and such, if only because phrases like "Rats have been PERSECUTED for ages" and 'the Spaniards massacred the poor defenseless Inca Empire etc.' - 'the Pacific native people under British colonial rule "dissappeared" bit are so strangely phrased and blatantly Britto-centric they become funny in their own right.

`Awesome, awesome show. Apparently they filmed an episode recently where they set off 500 pounds of explosive and accidently blew out some of the windows of a (relatively) nearby suburb. They payed for the repairs of course. I hope they still show that episode on the TV.

Whoa! WHOOPS!
Aww, PaganBob... You're just supposed to enjoy the act, not point out their mistakes. ^_^ Though it's awesome you're intelligent enough to notice!!!

`I enjoy Mythbusters. I must admit, however, to enjoying it more back in the days when it was just Adam and Jamie, without the posse. I've written in a couple of times, as one of umpteen thousands of other folks, but never received a response.

I have a backlog of it waiting for me on my DVR.
