Friend zone is a virus

So there I was, back from basic training. In this beautiful lady's house. We had watched movies all night and cuddled together until she had to take a shower. Once she got out she just looked amazing...slowly walked over to me and I attempted to give her a kiss, but by mistake our noses touched. She giggled and then ran to her room, came back out and gave me her grandmothers necklace. Then we kissed (without messing up this time @.@). Then layed next to each other all night. Well the next day I had to leave back to the military. I tried to keep in contact with her as much as I could until after 6 long months. I come back to find out that she's not only given up all feelings for me, but has a boyfriend now. After that I have yet to ever keep a relationship for longer than 2 weeks without messing it up in some form. :/ How can someone just give up on something so great? This is when I noticed....in a relationship...there is one person that is madly in love, while the other is just afraid of being alone.

`Oh man.. that hit home hard for me. I'm sorry to hear that. I've been in countless relationships or some form of a "relationship" and it felt like one person gave it their all and the other was simply just there. There was this guy I met through friends and I fell head over heels for him, he did a great job on leading me on too. He would constantly tell me I'm beautiful and that I'm an amazing person but he didn't want a relationship right now. We would cuddle, watch movies, hang out and talk until like 5 in the morning.. everything was perfect except for the fact that we weren't actually a couple. He started talking to a girl that lived a couple hours away and I realized the way he talked about her he would never talk about me with that kind of passion. Sadly, we aren't even friends now.

And I'm definitely not perfect myself... I've been with guys who I just h--k up with for my own satisfaction and I'm not completely into the relationship like they are. Either way, it is a sucky feeling.
