Describe myself...Here goes. I'm not the most social person, so I tend to be quiet around people I don't know. Luckily, I'm much more interesting once I get to know you and vice versa.

I'm a software developer. To most people who aren't developers, that *is* as boring as it sounds. I'm a techie through and through, and almost everything I know about computers is self taught.

I'm mildly eccentric, but in a good way. I have an encyclopedic knowledge of mostly useless tv, movie and music facts. I'm an avid videogamer. I also have a penchant for most things sci-fi. I have a great sense of humor, even if I make bad jokes sometimes. (Don't worry, I keep them at a minimum.) I love to laugh, and have a preference for dry humor, such as Gary Larson, or Douglas Adams.

Now, as far as what I'm looking for...I want someone I can enjoy being around. Someone I can relate to, but also someone who challenges me when the situation calls for it. I'm a hopeless romantic, and in the interest of being totally honest, I want to meet someone I can spend the rest of my life with.
