Whovian Car Nerd For the most part, I'm your run-of-the-mill nerdy guy. I love Star Wars, Doctor Who, Sherlock, and even a couple of animes. I really enjoy quirky stand-up comedy; folks like Dmitri Martin and Brian Regan. I also love thoughtful Sorkin-y dramas like The West Wing. I'm a big Michael Crichton fan, with Jurassic Park being my favorite book of all time (it's about more than just dinosaurs). In younger years, I'd consider myself a gamer, but as of late, there hasn't been much that piqued my interest, apart from Pokemon X that sucked many hours from my life.
I'm a huge car nerd. I would shirk the term "gear-head" as that implies that I know at all how to work on them. I just love the sensation of driving and keep an extensive list of every car I've ever driven. Needless to say, I watch a ton of Top Gear. My ultimate vacation would be just to drive around Europe, changing cars along the way.
I also enjoy intellectual debate. Especially about politics. I love to learn more about why I believe what I believe. I would consider myself a centrist or a progressive, but I do lean conservative on a lot of issues.
Religiously, I'm not sure what to call myself. I certainly can agree to the concept of intelligent design and I love Christianity, but I have trouble with the "faith" part. I do try to live my life according to the Bible, because at the very least, it's chock-full of good advice.
Wow, I've certainly written quite a lot, but in short, I'm an optimistic, dry-witted, cat-loving, polymathic sci-fi nerd.
