50% Small-town Michigan Geek + 50% Chicago Science I am working on a graduate degree in chiropractic at the moment and (though science was never my strong suit) I love the study of the human body. I'm all about spending time with friends and family, traveling to wherever I can think to go, taking in a music show, having a BBQ and spending a afternoon by the lake, camping and hiking through the woods, and (every once in a while) going out to the club, dancing like and idiot and generally getting a bit rowdy.

Health and wellness are really important to me and so I devote a little bit of time every day to cooking healthy meals and getting in some sort of physical activity (just recently I have began training for a Tough Mudder run that I will be doing next year).

As far as my geeky activities they are many and varied. I am big on the whole written word thing, I have played pretty much every major tabletop RPG since the birth of the genre, I know more about the Star Wars EU than I have any right to and I have a fierce pride in my iMac and its associated hardware. I spend some time every day on the internet reading various webcomics (Darths & Droids is my favorite), watch Joss Whedon stuff like it is going out of style (was it ever in style?) and am currently trying to learn two new skills (guitar and swing dancing).
