Brains.... Braaaaainnnss... Okay, it's not quite Halloween anymore but I guess it fits anyway - I like smart girls. Who doesn't?

Hi there. Name's Bart. Well, not really, but that works as a nickname. I'm a 38 years old geek, and while I am OK living on my own, I think that it would be MORE FUN if I wasn't alone. I figured this site has probably a better than average chance of meeting a compatible person.

And yeah, I am a geek. I am fairly functional, but I have my quirks. When it comes to geekdom, I am into RPGs, world design, science fiction, fantasy, cosmology, oh and more science fiction (I don't mind Star Trek but I'm not a trekkie/trekker/whatever). I actually enjoy travelling but again - that's something I prefer not to do alone. You see where I am going with this?

I have pets: About a half-dozen small dragons who live on my bookshelf. They're cleverly pretending to be made of plastic so as to not alarm the neighbours.

I used to be a Linux systems engineer for about 12 years or so; currently I work as a Service- and Project Manager for a medium to large ISP.

Oh. Last but not least - I do speak German (native) as well as English. Pick your preference.
