I am a 26 year old geek looking for a relationship or a friendship with someone that shares similar interests. I've gotten so frustrated going out with girls who have never read a comic book, have no idea who Doctor Who is, and have never even held a video game controller. I'm looking for a girl that loves to read, watch movies/TV, play video games, go to concerts, and do all of the things that I really love to do.

I'm the head of IT for a small company and do private consulting on the side while continuing to go to school. I also hope one day to become more prolific in my writing as well.

I love nothing more than putting on my headphones and playing the drums for hours at a time. My favorite bands are Incubus and the Foo Fighters, but I have hundreds of gigs of music from all across the spectrum. I love everything from Soundgarden to Adele and I am ALWAYS open to new sounds. I love going to see live music and if you can play an instrument as well that's a huge plus.

I'm a huge fan of good, character-driven fiction in any medium and if I could do anything in this world it would be writing for a Joss Whedon TV show. I love reading books and graphic novels (Game of Thrones, World War Z, Sandman, Watchmen, etc.), watching good TV (Buffy, Doctor Who, Firefly, Community, etc.), and going to see movies (even the crappy B movies sometimes!)

I'm also a big fan of video games in all forms and it would be a dream come true to find someone who liked playing or even just watching.

I am open to lots of new experiences, I'm a die-hard romantic, an Atheist, a big supporter of Equality Now, and I like to talk politics.

The downsides: I've had chronic daily migraines for 10 years now, since my junior year of high school. They come at a random time every day and so it's hard sometimes to set a solid schedule and keep plans.
