The Third Mario Brother First of all, I'm a nerd. (Obviously, right?) I love video games, anime, SciFi, documentaries, The Office, anything that runs on 1s and 0s, and all the other nerdy staples. Favorite things to watch are science and history documentaries, nostalgic re-visits to cartoons I watched as a kid (Ren & Stimpy!) and usually historical dramas like The King's Speech. I can't do without my netflix or hulu. They have essentially made TV obsolete for me.

I do have a non-nerdy side that I let show OCCASIONALLY. (sigh) For instance, I love working out and staying healthy, and only date women who take care of themselves in the same way. Coolest places for me to visit are exploring state and national parks, bonfires, canoeing, nerdcons and going on dangerous missions to preserve world peace.

Nerdcons are an especially big thing for me now. The last two years I've been on a major con kick and rarely miss a video game convention if I can drive to it within a day. Anime conventions are okay, too, but I'm a gamer at heart. Last one attended was MAGFest 2012 and I had one of the coolest moments of my life when Nobou Uematsu himself signed my FFVI OST. -Extra points if you know it Uematsu-san is without going to Wikipedia.
