Looking to see who's out there. Hi there, thanks for taking the time to look at my profile. I joined this site hoping to find someone who's like-minded and who will appreaciate me for who I am, nerdiness and all. I'm terrible at these online profiles, but I'll do my best to tell you a little bit about myself. Here goes nothing...

I moved to the Twin Cities from Illinois after finishing grad school in 2008. I'm a history nerd, and I feel very fortunate to have made a successful and rewarding career working at a historic site out of a passion of mine. I guess what makes me a nerd is my love of "living history" which works out great for me since I work at a costumed living history site.

I love lots of things, but especially reading and discussing books, watching movies, listening to music (I have a very ecclectic taste in music), going out for a night at the theater (I studied acting/voice for awhile in college), exploring museums of all kinds, enjoying a relaxing visit to an aquarium or zoo, and lots more.

Most of all, I love spending time with family and friends. I consider myself a loving and devoted person to those I care about. I am a dad and take tremendous joy in watching my young son grow up. Hopefully someday I'll find someone to share these joys with.
