I have been told I am witty, funny, and charming. Unfortunately, I don't meet very many people who love to talk math, science, philosophy, or history. I occasionally write programs and build circuits, learn new things on the interwebs, and play some video + computer games.

I realize by now I sound like your average nerd, but I do a lot of other things like acting, mountaineering (hiking, backpacking, climbing, camping) in and around the Rockies, I have worked as a camp counsellor (I prefer '"fun" coordinator') and taken care of people's kids [7-17] while living in a tipi a couple months out of the year and teaching them canoeing, archery, wilderness skills, etc.
I used to be involved in a lot of team sports, and I was an avid long-distance runner.

I had a brief stint in college, where I hope to return soon, working towards a Bachelor of Science degree in cellular & molecular biology. I worked as a surveyor doing high-precision measurements of hydroelectric dams, I made sushi at a restaurant, sold booze at a liquor store, and all sorts of other fun jobs.

I like my life to be varied in experience, and I love to try new things. I yearn to meet someone that shares some of my interests and has some of their own which I might grow to enjoy. Physical appearance is not anywhere near important as a sense of humour and intellect to me, affectionate or compassionate personalities are even more fiery hot than freckles on a redhead (I'm not partial to any hair colours, just throwing out a saying).

I believe in humanism and love to volunteer, as I've been through some tough times in my life and know how much of an amazing impact people helping people can make. Right now I am just living my life, finding where it is I want to be, but in no real hurry to get there -- just enjoying the ride.
