I have a lot of weird interests that I'm passionate about, but it can get lonely...sound familiar? I'm divorced and a bit nervous about getting back into dating as I've been a house husband for some years and am having to start everything from scratch now.

I've mostly been the homely type and used to be a little shy in social situations until I got comfortable, but I've gotten much better at it in my old age and I enjoy eating out, or going to the odd pub- quiet ones rather than packed and noisy ones if possible- and the cinema etc. Clubs aren't really for me though- can't dance to save my life, and I'd rather talk to you, not shout at you!

I'm very loyal and honest, with a good sense of humour. I like my food- I'm a little bit tubby in fact, sorry! I don't drink alcohol a lot, simply because I'm rubbish at it! But I will have one or two here and there. I'm also very anti-smoking.

I've got all sorts of interests! Computers, reading, am very interested in spaceflight, and the Titanic.

I'm very creative and enjoy making all sorts of stuff, large and small.

On TV I'm a big fan of 'Top Gear' and 'Doctor Who' among many other things, such as original CSI, vintage sitcoms, documentaries, etc. I like all sorts of films- action, comedy, etc, but horror is a fave genre.

Lastly, about interests- I don't think people have to like everything the same- I'm quite willing to take an interest in all sorts of things that you may prefer to do as well!

Let's see, what else...I'm a non-driver, and I can't have my own children sorry, though I usually get on okay with other peoples. I have got a much-beloved cat named Buffy though!

I'm quite a softy, and rather romantic...candles, the comfort of close companionship, that kind of thing. I'm starting to feel/realise that I haven't really done a lot in my life, and now I've got this second shot at it, I need to do something about that. Moving North is one big step; want to lend a hand with the rest?
