A strange cat dreaming I am a strange character with idiosyncratic experiences. My life's walk has lead me to many interesting places.

I devour reading material by the truckload. I spend time with Kirkegaard and Husserl for my own amusement, but I am just as pleased to read Clive Barker and Neil Gaiman. I love Ingmar Bergman films, but also take great pleasure in delightfully terrible B-movies. My musical tastes are extremely diverse.

I love art galleries, big and small alike. The best art is that which, if for a moment, consumes and draws me into its world. Touch me to the marrow; for me, that is most truly art.

I create music and soundscapes, mainly through remixing and mangling samples. However, I also play guitar. I occasionally indulge in abstract acrylics painting, short fiction writing, and poetry. I've been grooving on LARPs and roleplaying games for a long, long time. I've even written a roleplaying game.

Ny spirituality is somewhat complex. I view myself as Taoist, but I am equally comfortable in an Episcopal church on Sunday as joining my friends for their pagan Yule. On that note, I'm quite the anthropology, history and sociology geek when it comes to religion and philosophy. Unless you wish to convert me, chances are I will take no issue with your faith or lack thereof.

I am quite sociable, but I also often hermit up (so to speak) from time to time. Still, I get out regularly to do coffee, visit a park, spend some idle time with friends, and so on. On that note, I should be forward that I work very long hours because of my self-employment. However, my schedule is accordingly quite flexible; making time for a relationship is not a problem.

The way I see it, life is wonderful and chaotic. Each moment is a blessing, odd and interesting in itself. In both frenetic and quiet moments, there is a stillness and perfection. Individuality is a divine gift, if ever was such a thing; we each should revel in who were are. Take joy in this life we are given!
