I'm currently enrolled in JSU and attending KGU as a foreign exchange student. I'm working on my computer science degree, which I intend to keep at until I get my Ph.D. I would like to be involved in research later in life.
For fun, I like designing and making video games, playing video games (mostly RPGs and strategy), or reading. I enjoy programming and writing, which happen to be my two favorite aspects of game design. I'm involved in the free software community, and am very experienced with Linux. I love overanalyzing things and reading too much into the stories I enjoy. As far as music, I mostly listen to classic rock, some older hip-hop, classical, jazz, and tidbits of stuff here and there from other genres. Although I'm a computer scientist, I'm passionate about other sciences as well, particularly physics and biology.

I'm very opinionated about many things, due in part because I love thinking about things.

I'm hoping to meet people that share my interests and are also laid-back. I believe a nerd is someone who believes intelligent conversation is the most satisfying conversation to have, so feel free to contact me if you agree.
