I'm a nerd and proud of it! As my title says, I'm a nerd. Have loved sci-fi since I was a kid. Started with old reruns of Star Trek and has just branched out since then. Huge fan of Battlestar Galactica, Caprica, the Stargates, etc...
Major fan of anime and manga as well. Have a huge collection of both but my favorites are the mecha genre like Gundam and Macross. Also love the shonen stuff like Bleach and Naruto. Not even going to try to list everything I have here.
My other major love is history, have more books then I can read ranging from ancient to modern history. Have to say that the majority of the books are military such as the Civil War and World War II. Am a major fan of alternate history books, such as if the South won the Civil War.
As for what I am looking for here, I am definitely looking to meet new people. Friends would be great but also looking for a long term relationship. Hard to meet people with the same interest as me in the bars so I figured best to try online. Don't have to have all the same interest as me but would like to have some things in common.
