Someday I'm going to start a mathematics academy for the pathologically obsessive-compulsive and write a modern version of Euclid's Elements based on its lecture series. For now, I work as an actuary for Mercer. In my spare time I run and work out, learn about epistemological engineering (i.e. statistics), and play the piano.

Philosophically, I'm a big fan of Ayn Rand, although I find some of her ideas incomplete. I don't read fiction as much as I used to, but I do own (and love) every single book by Michael Ende. (He wrote "The Neverending Story," which is infinitely better than the movie version. His other books, though little-known, are true gems.) Musically, I like all kinds of classical, as well as a wide, eclectic range of artists from the 70s on up.

I'm looking for a serious relationship, though I do have patience (i.e. I'm not in any rush to "settle down.") Important traits I'm looking for are ambition, drive, intellectual curiosity, appreciation of weird humor and bad puns, and dedication to fitness and health.
