Type of nerd: Math nerd.

Qualifications: I'm a senior in high school, taking multivariable calculus at Depaul once a week.

I currently hold the highest score in the City of Chicago Math League in my division.

I went to an eight-week summer camp solely for the study of number theory (Ross).

Generally: I pursue accomplishment. I like the feeling of standing back and admiring my handiwork. Please don't take the above and assume that I'm vain - while vanity certainly has something to do with it, there's a lot to be said for the feeling of personal accomplishment as well.

My favorite opera is Purcell's Dido and Aeneas. The Magic Flute is okay, but it's soooooo long...

I don't listen to only opera, of course. I listen to more than a bit of indie music, not so much out of contempt for the mainstream so much as that I generally prefer music with actual artistic merit to pop.

I'm on here looking for a relationship, but I'm not ready for a full-on emotional relationship - more for logistical reasons (having to move halfway across the US to a college in half a year) than for emotional reasons.
