At the urging of good friends who think I'm too miserable alone, I am putting up a profile. I'm 5'8, Chinese (not that you'd know. I dont speak Mandarin, and personality wise I'm about as Chinese as Diet coke). I begrudgenly tell you that I've been described as a teddy bear. Translation: I'm fat or chubby or whatever you want to call it. I like huggable but lets not kid ourselves.

I have a steady job that takes up more time than I'd like. I own a home I spend way too little time in.

I know enough about a lot of things that people think I'm a super nerd, but honestly its a con man trick: speak with confidence.

I'm a romantic at my core, somewhere underneath the sarcasm and insane humor, who is perfectly at home cuddling on the couch, watching bad tv, eating bad pizza and drinking bad beer.

I'm somewhat of a foodie: I cook and can appreciate a good burger, or a deconstruction (for economic reasons I prefer the burger more often)

I like wearing ties because I clean up so well.

I own a bowler, and firmly believe everyone else looks better in it than I do (I have a huge head and look silly in almost all hats).

I'm shameless dorky and believe that anything can be funny if you remove yourself far away enough from the situation. In fact I HAVE sided for a laugh instead of s----l gratification.

I'm a smoker who's trying to quit half heartedly (no external reason yet: no giflriend who dislikes smoking, and no smoker's cough. YET)

I guess I'm looking for someone who matches my sense of humor (or at least enjoys it) can be dorky and affectionate with me, and can either increase my smoking habit into our mutual deaths or make me see the errors of my way and properly quit (for myself of course. But kinda for you too).

I am personally laid back, and at home at the movies, at dinner, at the bar, at the beach or at home itself. But I'm open to trying anything once if you want to guide me through my virginal social outtings
