Looking for my match I am interested in fantasy and sci-fi literature. I'm guessing everyone on her has some of that interest. Right now I'm digesting Moorcock and soon Gemmell. I've read Martin, Jordan, Goodkind, Stackpole, L'Engle, Zimmer-Bradley, and Lieber. I'm a table-top role player; I have a wide interest of RP genres including fantasy, supers, sci-fi, and horror. I like movies, including action and comedy in addition to typical nerd-fare (comic book movies, sci-fi, and fantasy movies). I appreciate other cultures - especially through dining. My favorite non-American foods are Thai and Indian. I also enjoy a good beer and a slab of cooked meat or a burger once in a while.
I have an interest in politics, philosophy, history, and paleontology and I'm not particularly religious. I'm pretty normal when it comes to socialization (I can carry on a conversation that doesn't involve geek/nerd subjects if I need to). I don't know much about the inside of a car engine or how to do my own plumbing or complicated home repairs - but I'm smart enough to figure that stuff out.
