I'm a huge geek, so expect me to read a lot of science type articles and watch the discovery/history channel a lot. I also watch some anime, play a few games, oh and host the occasional poker party.

About the pet projects part... sometimes I get random ideas to build things... sometimes its something normalish and useful, and sometimes not... I've done everything from a life-size replica of a medieval siege weapon(with a few friends) to self-designed desks, coffee tables, home renovations, custom computers and a smattering of other electronics. Yes I can be considered 'Handy'.

My main time sink is definitely video games. I like to do lots of other things as well, but often won't go looking for alternative activities and sort of just play until something else falls into my lap.
