I hope that I can find someone that shares some of my interests, someone who won't mind the fact that I am a nerd.
I love reading. I read mostly fantasy and science fiction but I read some nonfiction and popular best sellers as well. I read at least 3-4 books a month. I enjoy learning new things so when I watch TV, I tend to watch the History channel or the Discovery channel. However, I also enjoy crime dramas like NCIS and Law and Order.
I enjoy travelling but I've discovered that it's much more fun to travel with someone. That's one of the reasons that I came to this website. I'm hoping that I can find the right person to travel with me. (Yes I know it's corny, but it's still true.)
My most geeky activity, however, is roleplaying. I'm an old school fan of classic roleplaying like D&D. Growing up, I was always encouraged to focus on academics and never really had a chance to express my creative side. D&D gave me a creative outlet and I've enjoyed roleplaying ever since. Now that I'm a little older, I'm able to enjoy other creative activities but I still have fun getting together with my buddies to play a little D&D.
