Living life again, one new adventure at a time! My wife passed away after a long illness, during which I did not get out much. I'm in a new season of life now, one which I hope will be marked by fun, adventure, romance and great new friends! I don't wish to be alone forever, but right now I'm less interested in exclusivity and more interested in meeting new people. However I am not the jealous sort by any means - I'll expect you're dating other people as well!

I am a computer programmer. You will not find me attending a comic or sci-fi convention, but I do like superheroes of all kinds (yes, even animated), science fiction of all kinds, Doctor Who, Star Trek, and the Big Bang Theory. I guess that makes me a "stealth geek". Whatever I am, I'm proud of it!
ADVENTURE is the underlying theme of my interests. If I have never done it before, I want to try it now! Whether I'm losing myself in a game of billiards with friends or taking a spur of the moment helicopter ride, I love to sample everything life has to offer. Want to play pool or racquetball, I'm there. Want to dance? Not great but getting better. Maybe I just need the right partner!
I'm new to Baton Rouge, but rather than feeling daunted, I see a city full of escapades waiting to happen. I just need a suggestion for where to begin, and an intrepid ally! Is that you?
