Ham, Pie, and Fahvergnugen How do I show off my nerd credentials? Captain of quiz bowl team in high school? Web software developer? Took every honors and AP course available? . Improved upon Google's N-Tier patented hierarchical table structure without even knowing it existed?

Yup. Did all those things. Also, I do read comics and manga and watch subtitled anime, but it's more of a hobby than an all-consuming passion. I enjoy cooking and dining out. And I don't play WoW, but that's because I knew how addicting that could be (MUDding in college cost me a scholarship... d'oh!) and stayed away. Also, I have a Masterpiece Optimus Prime as a desk toy, and I shoot people from time to time on the XBox 360. I'm not a huge pop culture guy, but when I do find something I like, I tend to consume it quickly.

But I'm also a guy's guy in some ways, which means I like cookouts, enjoy football and basketball, own multiple fishing rods and tackle boxes, and have a wide and varied collection of friends who are not what anyone would consider nerds or geeks. And

Aside from all that, I'm a nice guy with a big heart and a backbone. I am both agnostic and politically independent, but my family is conservative and Christian, and some of my buddies swing the completely opposite direction. I love animals, but they are also tasty, and I hope to learn more about them so that when the Rooster Revolution occurs in 2012, I can tell them that the cows are the ones who told me to 'Eat Mor Chikin.'

Physically, I have shoulders that stretch doorway to doorway, a neck so thick that I have to get custom shirts for weddings, and a size 21.5 ring finger. Most people think I am or was a football player, so if big dudes are your thing, you hit the jackpot.

I'm looking for a cute, bright girl with similar interests who will be comfortable with nerdy ole me and my non-nerd friends as well. Bonus points if she likes trying new culinary delights like beer, wine, and seafood.
