newly-minted RPG/gaming nerd I've always sort of existed just outside of what most people consider "normal", I guess. sort of in the awkward spot between the outcasts, and the average. I tend to gravitate towards both in different ways, and I often find myself wanting to bring those on the outs into the fold. usually this just puts me on the outs with them, and I honestly wouldn't have it any other way.

at any rate, what sorts of nerdy things am I into? well, I love games and using my imagination, so I've gotten pretty into pen-and-paper RPGs lately, and a lot of awesome board and card games that I think are pretty nerdy (eurogames and other games that are more complex than games like Monopoly, Yahtzee, or other staples - not that I have anything against those games, of course).
