A Nerd For All Seasons Hello, ladies of the desert!

My name is Sean, and I'm a geek for all seasons moving to the desert soon to start life anew. I'm about a year removed from ending a 10-year relationship, and less than six months removed from ending my career as a newspaper reporter with a lay-off. At the urging of a dear friend, I'm moving to the Phoenix area soon - hopefully, no later than September - to find my new life, new love, maybe a new fortune if I'm lucky as a freelance blogger and soon-to-be marketing student.

Ah, that's where you come in: I need to meet some new people to fill out my new life. If you can name it, I can be happy doing it. I'm an avowed gamer (PS3, PS2) who writes for GamerXChange.net under the pen-name "Sleepless Colin." I also adore pretty much all things pop-culture - the good, the bad, the ugly, the cheeky, the stupid, the awesome. Happiness, for me, is very often my wonderful Netflix queue of any kind of movie one could want. When that won't do it, it's the 12,000+ song iTunes library that monopolizes my hard drive. When it's quiet time, it's a fine book and a glass of wine.

But when it's really time to unwind, I'm all about my kitchen. I love to cook, and I'm always looking for a new challenge. I also hunt, fish, golf, work out four to six days a week, and love anything that gets me a good sweat.

If dry, friendly sarcasm and even a little cheesiness (and ample cheekiness, I might add) unlock your heart, then I've found your hide-a-key. I'm just looking for a natural-born flirt who can give it as good as she gets it, keep up with my impetuous streak, and gets that living life is more than just picking one gear and sticking with it.

Getting lost in the desert wouldn't be so bad, with the right company. Then again, "Not all who wander are lost...."
