Bored in Paradise Hi there! Glad I caught your interest!

My name is Ben. I was born and raised in the Virgin Islands in the Caribbean. Beautiful place, but even paradise has its flaws. Which is why I now reach out through the power of the internet to see just who wants to hear my story (and in turn let me hear yours).

Now, living here in the islands has its (obvious) perks. Warm sunshine all year round, beautiful views, fantastic beaches, need I go on? I enjoy going out into the beauty that I am fortunate to live amongst, but that's not the only side of me.

Whenever I am not windsurfing, swimming, or sailing, I become a total nerd. I enjoy watching cartoons (anime, DC/Marvel, family guy, south park, futurama), and every now and then I get some serious video gaming in. I am the author of an online webcomic, and I dabble in digital art and photography.

Sounds like a pretty good life eh? Well there's one problem, I am lonely. I had a serious relationship for a little over a year go wrong and I was never really the same since. Going back into the 'singles world', I found out an ugly truth about my island: there is no (single) girl here who I could be myself around. The coolest girls I've met? Tourists (nice to meet you, ok see you bye!). Local girls are either taken or...well lets just say they aren't the relationship type. My ex was all about watching anime with me, and she didn't judge me for my gaming habits. I haven't found that again yet and I am ready to give this 'online dating' thing a go.

What exactly am I looking for?
Well, that's tough, considering my location. I'd obviously want to get to know you first, learn what kind of a girl you are, swap pics, etc.
If sparks fly, then maybe one of us can visit the other (I HIGHLY recommend you coming to visit me). I miss cuddling, I miss waking up to someone beside me, and I miss those moments where you know you are lucky to have someone.
