I always find these self-descriptions amusing for one particular reason. What is the self? There aren't many who claim to know and those that do can't seem to agree. The closest approximation an atheist such as myself can come to despite the limits of language is "any given system is characterized by the traits of that system." This tends to align fairly well with what others tend to do, ramble on about traits they possess.

With that out of the way, I have many traits which I feel characterize who I am. As you can tell, I'm a fan of philosophy and more than a bit of a smart ass. I am always making random jokes, and live by the statement "if you can't laugh at it, you're probably taking it too seriously." I am also open and honest to a fault.

Oddly enough, I also suffer from social anxiety and panic attacks. This is part of my attempt to break free of this internal prison fashioned by my irrational subconscious. For me, butterflies in the stomach feel like carnivorous flying razorblades attempting violent escape. As such, I can only date people I have been comfortable friends with. With that in mind, I'm looking for friends first.
