I just graduated from college last may with a degree in political science. After specifically avoiding taking statistics, I find I need it for the Masters degree I'm interested it- Animal Behavior and Conservation.
I love reading. Currently I'm reading a book on the Russian campaign against Napoleon, a book on 17th century philosophy and the bible. I just finished a book on theocratic tendencies in American politics and Dramocles: A Space opera. I'm a big fan of Lovecraft.

I get most of my science fiction/fantasy needs from TV these days. Love Doctor Who and essentially everything Whedon with the exception of Doll House. My favorite movie is usually either The Big Lebowski, Midnight in Paris, the new TinTin movie, The Fellowship of the Ring or Arsenic and Old Lace. Or maybe You Only Live Twice.

I'm a pretty big game person- board games, card games (magic the gathering ), video games (wii), computer- whatever. I enjoy games that involve some sort of strategic planning, which I tend to kind of suck at.
