Nocturnal Extrovert Randomly Delightful Got out of the Navy and went back to school. Spending time on other dating sites turns up a bunch of people who want to go camping all the time.

Me? I like to do... other things. Don't get me wrong, my family owns a place up in the woods and its fun to go up there a few times a year for a barbecue, but most of the time I'd rather go hang out at the local gaming store, catch a movie, or wander around downtown Portland.

I play Magic: The Gathering. I know how to play most of the big RPG's, more or less, but haven't played in along time. I enjoy reading, anything really, but should probably mention liking sci-fi (Asimov's a bro) and Fantasy (Pier's Anthony's a bro) since thats the purview of the site. I travel around to conventions (San Diego is lovely in July) and travel oversea's when I get the chance.

What does being a nerd mean to me? Today I went to the grand opening of a local gaming store my friend opened. There was a free tournament happening at 2pm. From noon to then 5 people asked me to look over the cards they were going to use while another few asked my advice on various things. I'm the guy, in whatever I do, who dives into stuff. Who focuses more than most people do. Who geeks out on stuff in the purest possible way, out of pure love for whatever caught my eye. Social games, of which CCG's are a part, are really fun for me because its personal interaction in a relatively low stress environment. Well, low stress for me, I'm also the guy people don't want to get paired against because I win alot. Today ended with me getting 50 bucks handed to me for 1st place. Fun times.

In terms of what I'm looking for? A nerdy girl whom I have chemistry with. If any of what I said sounds appealing hit me up.
