I'm quite shy at first but once I get a bit more comfortable around people I'm a pretty happy, positive, laid back kind of guy. I usually say things that make me laugh so looking for someone with a good (sometimes odd) sense of humour and/or someone that can tolerate bad jokes.
I like TV and film, although there seems to be loads of "must see" films which I've missed and I'm slowly reducing that list. My fave TV shows are usually comedies or sci-fi shows, Family Guy, Futurama, Battlestar Galactica, Lost, 24 and Firefly falls nicely between the two, plus other shows like the Wire.
I'm a big music fan and have somewhat of a varied and eclectic taste, alternative rock, indie, anything guitar-based really
. Some of my fave artists/bands are ones like Feeder, the Ataris, Coheed and Cambria, Muse, Say Anything and others like Iron Maiden, Radiohead and Phil Collins - I could go on and on, safe to say I don't like leaving the house without my ipod! I am very nerdy and I have to be honest, else it may come as a shock when you meet and talk to me - it would be apparent when you meet me. I used to try and hide away from who I am but it's best That being said, I do spend a lot of time on my xbox, but I would re-prioritise for that special someone in a flash.
I try to keep fit, and I'm trying to get into the habit of jogging - I've put in an entry for next year's London marathon so I'll have to get it moving if my entry gets accepted!
I'm not a drink-till-you-drop guy but I do enjoy kicking back with a drink or two and would be looking for someone equally laid back - I always look to minimise any stress.
