I am in a new city looking for new friends Where to begin....My name is JP. I am originally from Yonkers, NY. That's right outside of NYC bordering the Bronx. I was a city guy until now. I just decided to hit the "restart button" in my life and relocate to upstate NY (Corning). That may seem odd to most people. Most people try to get out of the small towns and move to NYC. I am doing the opposite. Lets just say that life has an odd sense of humor. Due to life's odd sense of humor, I find myself getting ready to go back to college again.

I am a very easy going person. I like to make light of life and try to draw a little bit of happiness from each day. That being said I am very detailed oriented and very focused when needed to be.

I have been known to be honest to a fault at times. Honesty, loyalty and trust are very dear and valuable to me. I have a sarcastic wit about me. I can talk a lot and listen even more.

I have quite a few tattoos and a few piercings. I plan on acquiring more in the future.

I have a large and diverse collection of hobbies and enjoyments. I am a history buff. I collect all types of military artifacts and memorabilia. I enjoy pretty much all horror and scifi movies. I have a special affection for Zombie movies. I am a video gamer. Mostly shooters and RPGs. I tend to read a lot of mythology and history books.

As for more physical enjoyments. I am a fire performer. I have been drawn to the fire arts for some time now. There is a great primal force in manipulating and performing with fire. I attend and perform at many festivals of all types through out the year. I like hiking and getting lost in nature. I find great peace in the nature.
