The glasses are just for using the computer I never realized that people expect the smart things to come out of the mouth of someone wearing glasses, then I noticed my eyes were inflamed after computer use, and started getting plain-lens glasses, and it seemed more natural. Then, they started hiring me for research jobs, when the employer had only read my profile or talked to me over the phone. So apparently, despite being a rather big, strong guy with mild asthma, I ended up nerdy enough to be a little awkward socially and did enough reading in college and high school to wind up only looking natural, when speaking at length with a pair of glasses: me and Stephen Fry.
