I'm currently attending PSU, my focus has been in history. Not the most lucrative field, but I find it compelling. What's the point of paying all that money and putting in all the work if you don't learn to do something that you like. Some of my family don't understand that, but I'd rather feel happy and fulfilled than earn a couple extra bucks and be over worked, joyless and miserable.

I also started to take my photography hobby a bit more serious this last summer. I did a lot of hiking on the coast, went out just about every weekend this summer. It was a great excuse to go see a lot of places I never really imagined I would. I ended up with a decent amount of pictures and some good memories. I look forward to continuing to hike when the weather is better. I also recently got into a color photography class at PSU. I've been trying to get into it for over a year now. I'm excited!

I'm a fairly open person and willing to talk about, and answer any reasonable questions. When it comes to volunteering personal feelings I can be a bit closed till I warm up to a person, but hopefully the right woman will come along and crack me open and that won't be a problem. It wouldn't be accurate to call me shy, because I'm not, reserved might be a better term. I like conversations, it is a very important part to any relationship, friendship or otherwise, and I really like a person who enjoys talking.
