Simple life Nothing too interesting, I am a 40 something ex-computer whiz kid. I tend to stay up way to late reading interesting things or working on the computer.

I've seen a few movies. I tend to like them, but prefer storyline over anything else. I do pay to see Harry Potter in the theaters in order to show support for the films. Most of the time though, I wait for the movie to be available through other means. I do wish Red Box supported a wider range of movies.

I used to play RPG's (pen and paper) a lot, though it's hard to find a decent gaming group now days.

Computers are a big passion of mine. I sold my first program at the age of 12, an inventory system for a book distributor. I suck at graphics, but am generally pretty good with logic and algorithms. I used to think I was good at math, until I hit Calculus, sadly I now know I am not good at math, grin. I don't tend to play many games anymore, most can't hold my interest. i also like to accomplish something, even if it's as useless as learning something trivial rather than continuing to do the same thing over and over.

I attend college as an undergraduate and am thinking about graduate school, though I really have to wonder if I could handle the quals.

I have two daughters that I see on a regular basis.

No real future plans. I want to finish up my BS in computer science, but I don't take many classes every semester so it's going to be a while before I get there. I'm not taking courses to get a degree to get a job, I've been there in the past, I just enjoy learning.
