I'm just a nerdy guy looking to talk to nerdy girls. It would be cool to talk to someone who at least knows what sci-fi IS. Most women I talk to don't even know that star trek and star wars are different shows. Even if I don't find a date here it would be cool to make some friends that I have something in common with.

I am really into star trek, and I also like firefly. I also really like RPG's, but I have been really disappointed with recent ones. I used to play final fantasy 11 online but it grew into a giant evil beast with online friends that demanded all my time, so I stopped playing that one. I guess I'm not a typical nerd in that I am rather athletic, I like to go running and I also practice/teach traditional tae kwon do and self defense classes on occasion.

I'd like to talk to a girl that I could have an intelligent conversation with, has at least some self-confidence, and who also doesn't have any mental illnesses. I know, I'm asking for a lot, right? In my last serious relationship my girlfriend had clinical depression and was suicidal, and I had to kick down her door with the police to stop her from killing herself. A girl I dated after that was bipolar and liked to cut herself. Besides that, it just seems that all people care about is reality tv and football. I guess I have just lost faith in humanity a little bit, and I'd like to know that there at least some people out there that are intelligent and not (that) crazy.

Anyways, I am interested in dating, or if not, just chatting, and I am only interested in girls. I am not interested in casual S-- or one night stands, and I am not interested in open relationships.
