Whatever you do, don't blink I am pretty confident in saying that I am a nerd. Maybe not a hardcore nerd like some are but a nerd, nevertheless. I like comic books, video games, anime, manga, movies, sci-fi, fantasy, and so on.

I typically am a Marvel guy when it comes to comics though my favorite of all time is Batman, a DC guy. So, I don't know, I've just always really liked Batman and his extended family (which, for me, includes the amazing Secret Six). He was the first comic book hero I can remember seeing as a wee lad probably has something to do with it. Plus, he has some of the top to bottom villains in all of the comic books (I even like some of the stranger ones for comedy value).

Video games, I'm a bit of a retro gamer (I know that term gets thrown out a lot). Some of my favorites of all time are retro Zelda, Mario and Megaman. I like a lot of the more modern gaming consoles as well and especially am into handheld. I can say without shame that I'm a Pokemon fan, and love those repetitive games (plus, Red is such a bad --- compared to Ash).

Some other stuff I like includes Life on Mars (British version), Red Dwarf, Doctor Who, Torchwood, Farscape and Angel, Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I also like Firefly (and, on that same token, Serenity) and Repo (The Genetic Opera), and Dr. Horrible's Sing-A-Long Blog (noticing a distinct Whedon pattern yet?). I'm pretty much a fan (or, at least willing to give a chance) to anything Transformers related that doesn't have Michael Bay anywhere near it (favorite is a tie between G1 and Beast Wars).

Anime and Manga I vary on but some of my favorites are Cowbop Bebop, Hellsing, and Outlaw Star, Yu Yu Hakusho and Fruits Basket.

As far as what I'm looking for here, I'm looking to meet someone I find interesting and that I can get along with. Beyond that, I'd like to see where it goes and let it unfold how it will. Whether they are (or, I am to them) that special someone or we just become friends.
