Nerds love eg. tech, games, physics. I'm home. This is where the "GEEK ALERT" disclaimer should be on any other site. Feels nice to ignore that.
Who needs introductions anyway. I'll get prosaic, try to mix in cleverness where i can and hold off on the rambling. (edit: failed. f*ck it.)
I look for beauty in all I see and hear. Easiest in people and music, but also in multimedia and physical art.Irony comes easy but I'm secretly a bit romantic as well.
Birthplace Canada, Dutch parents. The net effect is that I sometimes randomly forget a Dutch word and switch to English or vice versa. Quite linguistically apt otherwise.

First computer ran Mac OS 6, instant literal fanboy before it became popular, till early 2k's, when i had to buy my own hardware and turned to the dark side. This may explain why I've gone largely to the graphics side of life.
Now working at a food service equipment company. My job description is a running gag at work.
Informally: "That guy is good with computers, languages, Adobe software, and usually not too stupid; so let's have him do this too."
I'm an avid gamer, PC, PS3, RPG, board, card, you name it. Too many interests to list, but a limited selection for anyone who cares: - WoW (Sabbatical since April 2011); - D&D; - MTG.
Music is important to me; I used to play, and now listen whenever possible. Another "too much to list" looms ahead.
Suffice to say for now that I can groove as easily on Faithless as to Louis Armstrong, while overproduced commercial trash-pop makes me run to the hills (which is an awesome song though).

I think I covered most of the basics and then some. You may even still be reading.

A random selection of things I also love: irony/oxymorons, puzzles, the smell of rain after a hot day, and Ben & Jerry's ice cream, and movies that.. will have to wait because i'm out of space.
