I have a great job in IT that I truly love, but working overnight is not a great way to meet someone...
I like to read all about things that are science-y. (except Biology -- squishy science... EWWWW!!!) I enjoy messing with computers and networks, tinkering with electronics, cooking (which is just Applied Chemistry, when you look at it), and of course, gaming. That's not to say that I'm a Gamer Nerd, that's something totally different. I also like to build things, and in my retirement years, I plan to support myself making furniture.
My general goal is to gain an education in Aerospace Engineering or a related discipline, and using that education, I want to design vehicles and life-support systems for use in hostile environments (Electronics, Computers, Chemistry... see what I did there?
). It's a boyhood dream, perhaps more suited to a dreaming boy than to a practical man, but is that really a bad thing? As for music, I like ProgRock. Bands like Rush, Dream Theater, Yes, Planet X, pretty much anyone who uses a drum kit bigger than a car.
