Hello, my name is Jamie. I'm a recent graduate of Digital Film Production from a college in London, now looking to pursue an English A-Level and employment after moving back to Portsmouth. I enjoy writing and dreaming.
I love comic books, video games, board games and cult movies. More of a DC guy than a Marvel guy, but I prefer the Marvel movies.
My favourite comic is, predictably, Watchmen. I even wrote about it in my dissertation! I also love Batman: The Long Halloween, Infinite Crisis/52 and Mark Waid's run of Daredevil.
Game-wise I've always been an RPG nut, though I also enjoy the odd first person shooter. At the moment I'm really getting into the VN styled mystery games like Virtues Last Reward and Danganronpa.
Movie wise, my top 3 will probably always be Brazil, American Werewolf in London and Departures. But I also love the Evil Dead trilogy and Adrift in Tokyo.
I also like anime, though not as much as I used to. Will watch the occasional series, but don't expect me to be able to keep up in a conversation about the newest stuff! I still hold Akira as the best animated film of all time, bar none. I will miss seeing it at the Prince Charles every time it's on most about living in London!

I'm on Nerd Passions because I've just moved back, and I'm looking for people to talk to. If someone more comes from that, I won't complain. But I want to widen my circle of friends down here, so if you feel like talking drop me a line!
